MTSI is seeking a
Common Source Database Manager (CSDB) with a TS/SCI clearance to provide support to a Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio. The CSDB Manager's primary focus will be to perform as a key participant in developing long-term weapon system supportability approaches that further the Government's acquisition strategy goals and objectives managed by AFLCMC. This individual will be responsible to participate in the development and architecture of the organization's CSDB and IETM solutions. The incumbent will be required to initiate a long term, high-quality, affordable, and supportable program to sustain end-item systems through all phases of acquisition.
Role and Responsibilities*
- Conduct analyses on multiple solutions to meet CSDB and Technical Order requirements.
- Advise on data exchanges as it applies to S1000D and logistics/maintenance data.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the systems are integrated into USAF Enterprise Logistics IT Systems
- Participate in integrated product support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings.
- Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts.
- Apply logistics knowledge to perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy.
- Support the management of a TO/Technical Data Library.
- Prepare data management plans, TO verification plans, and TO management plans.
- Assist in identifying engineering data requirements and data rights claims.
- Review, track, and monitor verification and delivery of engineering/technical data; identify requirements for applicable technical manuals.
- Review and analyze deficiency reports (DRs) and assist in conducting root cause analyses of the S1000D technical data in order to identify any problems and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Education Requirements*
- 10+ years of acquisition and technical order management experience across all phases [JR1]of the Acquisition lifecycle
- Experience in Digital Engineering and Logistics applications in the digital environment
- Experience with eXtensible Markup Language (XML) and Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML)
- Experience with tagging schema and software certification and licensing requirements
- Expert knowledge of USAF policy, regulations, and technical orders in support of technical data programs
- Experience with technical data developed IAW ASD-S1000D and associated business rules
- Thorough understanding of Common Source Database frameworks and system implementation methods.
- Strong Communication Skills - written and verbal
- Good analytical and planning skills
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Preferred experience in Special Access Programs (SAP)
- Must have an active Top-Secret clearance. Duties will require unescorted entry and work within classified SAP and SCI facilities.
