Job Information

The Expeditor plays a critical role in supporting the Sales team with the execution of Capital Project orders. This position is responsible for reviewing new orders, coordinating documentation, tracking progress, managing communication between vendors and customers, and ensuring timely delivery and billing accuracy throughout the order lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review new sales and vendor purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with Documentation Control to submit technical documents in compliance with customer standards.
  • Provide customers with regular updates on order status and readiness.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely material delivery and proper documentation.
  • Manage multiple project orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Understand warehouse receiving and shipping processes to support order flow.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing to ensure timely closure and payment of orders.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of computer experience required, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Minimum 1 year of office experience, preferably in an industrial or supply chain environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, follow-up, and customer service abilities.
  • Professional telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and computer literacy.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
