Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business, Corporate Communications, or Learning and Development major, we have an exciting internship opportunity for you.

Woodward has the exciting opportunity for two internships in support of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system transformation. This significant initiative will extend across our global organization, aiming to modernize and enhance both business processes and our software system. Interns will gain valuable experience by contributing to a critical project and learning about the execution of large-scale organizational initiatives.

The Organizational Change Management Intern will collaborate with the Organizational Change Manager, playing an essential role in the success of the business transformation by focusing on the people aspect of change. Responsibilities will include planning, assessing, and executing communications, evaluating change impacts, supporting sponsorship activities, and facilitating training programs.

The IT Program Management Intern will work alongside the Program Manager and the IT technical team to ensure the program remains aligned with established schedules, budgets, and scope requirements. This role is vital to ensuring the readiness and effective deployment of the software system across the enterprise.

The purpose of an internship at Woodward is to provide students with the opportunity to gain exposure and "real life" business acumen within the Aerospace and Energy Industry.Our internships also provide students with the opportunity to learn and gain practical experience and to work in areas related to their academic and/or career interests.Gain hands-on experience while working on challenging projects, network with professionals and learn from some of the brightest minds in business.

The experience also gives the intern opportunity for potential full-time employment with the company.

What you will be doing

IT Program Intern:

  • Assist in maintaining program plans, timelines, and status reports.
  • Support coordination across workstreams including IT, business, and organizational change management.
  • Help track risks, issues, and dependencies; support go-live planning.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions for program governance forums.
  • Contribute to the development of dashboards, presentations, and executive-level reporting.
  • Participate in stakeholder communications and engagement activities.

Org Change Intern:

  • Assist in Change Planning: Supports the development and implementation of organizational change initiatives in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop training plans and materials using traditional methods (user guides, documents) and Digital Adoption Platform
  • Coordinate Change Communications: Facilitates clear and consistent communication regarding change processes to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Monitor Change Progress: Tracks the progress of change initiatives, ensuring milestones are met and documenting outcomes.
  • Support Stakeholder Engagement: Engages with employees and departments to gather feedback and address concerns related to organizational changes.
  • Maintain Change Documentation: Organizes and maintains records of change management activities, procedures, and materials for reference and compliance.

What We Are Looking For

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent skills in problem solving and trouble-shooting.
  • Competent in the use of PCs, MS Office Programs and other associated software.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a team environment.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of the English language with the ability to speak, read and write along with good listening skills.
  • Good marks in relevant subjects.
  • Possess high motivation, flexibility and ability to work on his/her own.
  • Add other KSA's pertinent to specific internship/discipline.

Education or Formal Training

Must be at least a sophomore in an accredited College or University program and have an acceptable grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Experience Required

No experience required. Previous internship or other working experience, a plus.
