As a Trust Fund Valuation Specialist, you will ensure accurate daily and monthly fund valuations that support critical investment and client activity within Associated Bank's Trust Company. You'll manage complex operational processes, partner with internal teams and external brokers, and help maintain the integrity of our clients' portfolios. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise across trading, fund valuation, and investment operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Calculate daily Net Asset Values (NAV) for Collective and Unitized funds and weekly/month-end valuations for Common funds, ensuring accurate pricing, accruals, and transaction activity.

  • Verify and execute all equity and bond trading activity, working with brokers and investment managers to resolve discrepancies and support timely settlement.

  • Process and monitor domestic and international wire transfers, ensuring accuracy, proper currency conversion, and appropriate client account charges.

  • Reconcile held-away accounts daily by validating transactions, obtaining broker statements, and ensuring accurate month-end positions for client reporting.

  • Manage class action filing and settlement processing by researching holdings, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring proper allocation to client accounts.

  • Execute fund reallocations for Lifestage Collective Funds to ensure accurate investment distributions within model portfolios.

  • Oversee pricing exceptions, stale securities, and third-party price sourcing to maintain accurate valuations and fee calculations.

  • Support securities lending for institutional clients by reconciling positions and coordinating with settlement teams to resolve pending issues.

Education & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting, or equivalent education/experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in trust operations, investments, finance, or accounting

Preferred

  • Experience with trust accounting systems, fund valuation, or institutional trading environments

  • Knowledge of securities lending and international wire processes
