Education & Loan Assistance: $10,000 Scholar Loan Program (LPN to RN) Position Details: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Med Surg, Medical Telemetry 7W Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128 Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000 About the Unit - Medical Telemetry 7W Medical Telemetry 7E & 7W care for adult patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. Common diagnoses include cellulitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, chest pain, gastrointestinal issues, COPD exacerbations, and medically stable COVID patients. This unit helps build strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, acute medical care, and fast-paced patient management. Overview Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) . Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
