Product Manager, HCP Marketing, AYVAKIT

Blueprint Medicines
paid time off, 401(k)
United States, Massachusetts, Cambridge
45 Sidney Street (Show on map)
Dec 02, 2025

How will your role help us transform hope into reality?

As Product Manager for AYVAKIT (avapritinib), you will help translate brand and specialty strategies into actionable, measurable tactics through thoughtful pull through and adaptation across channels. In this role, you will develop and deliver educational and promotional resources, as well as creative assets, that support and educate healthcare providers who care for patients living with systemic mastocytosis (SM).

You will bring strategies to life across a variety of channels, including media and digital placements, congress presence, educational programs, and field resources. By shaping these tactics into meaningful education, reach, and engagement opportunities for HCPs, you will help raise earlier clinical suspicion, clarify the diagnostic pathway, and reinforce AYVAKIT's role in the treatment of SM.

You will be a key connector between strategy and execution, helping to ensure consistency and impact across downstream assets and touchpoints where HCPs engage. Working under the guidance of the specialty-focused HCP leads, you will help execute the AYVAKIT strategy and contribute to ongoing efforts to shorten the diagnostic journey and support appropriate treatment decisions in SM.

What will you do?

  • Support the specialty specific HCP leads (Allergy/Immunology, Hematology/Oncology, Dermatology, and Gastroenterology) in executing AYVAKIT HCP marketing plans that help drive earlier recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of SM
  • Own end to end development of assigned HCP tactics, from initial direction through creative development, review, approval, and deployment
  • Translate brand and specialty strategies into clear tactical direction for agencies across key channels, including field tools, media, digital, peer to peer, and congress.
  • Develop and refine content for educational and promotional resources, incorporating cross functional input and ensuring alignment with core AYVAKIT messaging
  • Manage day to day agency interactions for assigned tactics, including project kick off, timeline management, feedback routing, and preparation of materials for review and approval
  • Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance stakeholders to support compliant development, review, and execution of materials and creative assets
  • Support internal rollout and pull through of new tactics by coordinating availability of materials and guidance for Field teams and other key stakeholders

What minimum qualifications do we require?

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of direct experience in or supporting the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, which may include agency or consultancy roles, with involvement in HCP-facing commercial activities
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate?

  • Experience supporting in line HCP marketing for a promoted brand
  • Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements related to pharmaceutical marketing and HCP engagement
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams, including commercial, medical, legal, regulatory, compliance, and agency partners
  • Experience working on products where a multidisciplinary or multi-specialty approach is key to advancing the market
  • Experience in rare disease and/or Dermatology, Allergy/Immunology, or Hematology/Oncology HCP marketing.
  • Demonstrated versatility, with the drive and curiosity to take on new and challenging projects and responsibilities.
  • Flexibility and the ability to plan and nimbly adapt tactics and approaches as business needs evolve.
  • Motivation grounded in patient focus, urgency, and a personal commitment to high performance, results, and compliance, with high integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to our Core Values: Patients First, Thoughtfulness, Urgency, Trust, Optimism
