The Opportunity

TC Energy is looking to add a skilled Business Services Coordinator to join the US Facilities team in Houston ,TX. Reporting to the US Facilities Manager, this position is responsible for the activities inside any company owned/leased building to ensure health and safety standards are met while arranging and scheduling repairs and maintenance as needed. They will work together with the Facilities Team to support the business units in the Houston Office as well as certain field offices.

What you'll do

  • Work with Facilities Team to monitor USPC Facilities mailbox requests at all times
  • Assist with all activities inside a building, ensuring health and safety standards are met
  • Assist in backing up for building security badging
  • Schedule repairs and maintenance on all appliances (dishwashers, refrigerators, etc.)
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations (AED, First Aid Kits, etc.)
  • Ensure all fire alarms and AC units are in good working condition
  • Schedule regular maintenance of equipment (FCU's, Water/Ice Systems, Security, Coffee, etc.
  • Coordinate Office and Parking Space Allocations
  • Review invoices and work with Finance Team to validate and request Purchase Orders
  • Restock office and kitchen supplies as needed (Paper towels, forks, spoons, etc.)
  • Ensuring lighting, heating, AC and ventilation systems are operating providing a good working environment for occupants (work with property management)
  • Assist Facilities Lead and Manager with major renovations and new construction
  • Manage Facilities floor plans in Houston and Charleston Planon application as well as updating floor plans in AutoCAD
  • Coordinate office signage and scheduling relocation of personnel
  • May supervise many personnel during furniture installations and office moves and relocations


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent
  • Two (2) years minimum experience in facilities/customer services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and proficient in AutoCAD and Planon preferred
  • SAP experience required
  • Strong organizational, observation skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team player who can work well with others
  • Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds
  • Must have a valid driver's license
