The Opportunity

Our Facilities Management team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Charleston, WV. We are seeking a Business Analyst to provide administrative and analytical support to Charleston facilities management and associated teams. This will also include support for 14 field locations in five states.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for various office and location support activities
  • Identifies, enhances and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business to which the support is being provided; ensures the correct functioning of facilities, office and business support service
  • Coordinates outside contractors and in-house services performing a wide range of tasks related to maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, office space, office equipment, etc.
  • May handle shipping and receiving in the office
  • May coordinate rearrangement of floor plans and office moves, including desks, computers and other office equipment and furniture
  • Work will include, general duties such as budget analysis, assignment of project costs, working with our Finance team to create purchase orders, invoice approval and coding, management of facility employee databases and floor plan mapping updates
  • Assist Project Management team with opening and closing of projects
  • Analysis will include extensive use of SAP and will require experience in development spreadsheet documents to support findings
  • Use SAP to create, track and monitor purchase orders, invoices, project budgets and costs, and employee status and location information
  • Meeting room bookings, timesheet/expense entry, facilities systems support, database updates for staff changes, manage team correspondence, and other administrative duties
  • Works with employees, contractors, and vendors to provide security, financial, and payment data
  • Supports departmental web site maintenance and Service now request applications
  • Manages work through exercising judgment in approach on more complex and confidential work


Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • High degree of initiative and ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to deal with changing situations and deadlines
  • Ability to identify and communicate opportunities to improve existing processes
  • Attention to detail and coordination of competing priorities
  • Advanced computer skills, including solid working knowledge of MS Office suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as SAP

Based in Charleston, this role supports our natural gas pipelines business in the US.
