Lead a high-performing Commercial/Corporate/Specialized Banking segment serving middle-market and corporate clients with revenues of $25MM+. You will drive segment strategy, growth, and credit discipline while managing a seasoned team focused on complex financing, treasury, and relationship needs. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise decisions, shape the regional market, and deepen your leadership impact. Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the middle-market/commercial segment to achieve revenue, portfolio, and profitability goals, ensuring strong credit quality and risk management for clients with revenues typically exceeding $25MM.

  • Drive new business growth by sourcing and expanding complex client relationships across credit, treasury, deposits, and specialized commercial solutions.

  • Oversee segment P&L performance and financial metrics, aligning production results with broader commercial banking strategy.

  • Participate in the loan approval process for sophisticated commercial structures, recommending terms, presenting credits, and guiding decision-making.

  • Coach and develop Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and team leaders, setting performance expectations and addressing credit or sales performance gaps promptly.

  • Provide strategic and financial insights to clients, advising on market conditions, trends, and opportunities impacting middle-market companies.

  • Engage in industry organizations, community events, and Colleague Resource Groups to strengthen Associated Bank's presence in the commercial marketplace.

  • Contribute to bank-wide committees and initiatives focused on lending, deposits, cross-sell strategy, and operational excellence.

Education & Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.

  • 15+ years of experience in Commercial or Corporate Banking serving middle-market clients with advanced credit, sales, and product expertise.

  • 4+ years of P&L leadership experience.

  • 4+ years of management experience leading commercial or corporate banking teams.

  • Reliable transportation and ability to lawfully drive, if applicable, by start date.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree or industry certifications.

  • Experience leading teams across multiple markets.
