Overview

We are seeking a Junior Business Manager supporting the International Private Bank (IPB) Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM). You will be an extension of the business management team in New York which coordinates projects and deliverables from front/middle/back office, presenting an excellent opportunity to learn the IPB business. You will coordinate multiple committee activities, ensure timely completion of follow-up items, and escalate outstanding issues to Senior Management; you will support implementation and monitoring of supervisory controls and compliance initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and update key business operating procedures, administer the order management system, and oversee the preparation and distribution of reports and committee materials, directly impacting business operations and digital documentation
  • Review and analyze holdings variances, compliance risk assessment responses, and daily account overdrafts, make recommendations for remediation and improvement; collaborate on estimates of monthly AUM for model portfolios
  • Utilize the Global+ accounting system for updating account reviews, manage data across various systems and applications, and handle order management system administration (including CRAM reports and securities restriction setups)
  • Schedule and document committee meetings, prepare and distribute reports (such as annual client updates and account reviews), organize investment review sessions, compile performance data, and communicate with portfolio managers and Trust Officers
  • Provide ongoing support to the New York business management team, partner with compliance to align procedures with regulatory frameworks, and participate in other business management projects as required

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business
  • Relevant experience in the Finance industry
  • Strong computer and data management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel (including V-Lookup and Pivot Tables), and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $109,750. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
