This is a US-based remote position that will start as a 7 month engagement that could potentially extend up to 18 months. All candidates must complete a Power BI test as part of the screening process.

Role Overview

As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and strategic decision-making within global supply chain planning. Your day will dynamically blend data engineering and business enablement, focusing on ensuring data reliability and providing crucial stakeholder support in the mornings, while dedicating afternoons to building, optimizing, and automating robust data solutions. This hands-on role involves significant technical execution, collaborating with diverse teams to translate complex requirements into actionable reporting and analytics. You will spend a substantial portion of your time (60-70%) working with technical tools, dedicating 20-30% to collaboration, and 10% to exploring innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop, maintain, and optimize business intelligence dashboards to support critical planning, scheduling, and labor tracking initiatives.
  • Write and maintain scripting language and database query language scripts for advanced data transformation, automation, and reporting.
  • Support the seamless integration of data from a unified data platform (including data lake, data integration, and data warehousing services) and other cloud-based data services.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and user experience teams to translate complex business requirements into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Assist in establishing and enforcing robust data governance frameworks, metadata management practices, and stringent data quality standards.
  • Contribute to the refinement of planning and scheduling workflows, including supporting synchronization with industry-standard scheduling software.
  • Explore and implement opportunities to leverage low-code development platforms and agentic AI concepts (such as autonomous agents and orchestration frameworks) to streamline operational workflows.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies in AI, automation, and data platforms, continuously evaluating their applicability and potential to enhance our operational environment.


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or data engineering roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data processing and automation.
  • Familiarity with Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, OneLake).
  • Understanding of planning and scheduling best practices (PMP certification a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • Experience in data center construction planning or commissioning.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard scheduling software.
  • Experience with low-code development platforms.
  • Exposure to machine learning, anomaly detection, or causal inference in real-time or streaming data scenarios.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and the development of intelligent agents.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management.
