Warehouse Receiving Associate - Weekend Shift | Acton, MA | $24.29/hr.

Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Pay: $24.29/hour, paid for 40 hours

Location: Acton, MA

Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing

We are seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate to join our medical device manufacturing facility in Acton, MA. This role focuses on the accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials while ensuring compliance with FDA and cGMP procedures. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities



  • Follow all safety policies and promptly report incidents, hazards, or equipment malfunctions
  • Complete assigned QMS training and maintain up-to-date certifications before performing tasks
  • Operate office systems (computers, software, printers) and warehouse equipment (forklifts, manual/electric pallet jacks)
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Report damaged or defective shipments and resolve discrepancies
  • Accurately log inventory data into SAP ERP system
  • Organize and store items in designated areas with proper labeling and identification
  • Assist other departments with warehouse needs, including staging materials for Quality Inspection and completing raw material orders via Kanban cards, email, or Teams
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse to ensure operational efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Qualifications



  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift and power jack operation experience preferred; must pass company competency test
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with SAP ERP system preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team with a positive attitude



Physical Requirements



  • Ability to lift and move 30-50 lbs frequently
  • Stand, bend, and move for up to 12 hours per shift
  • Frequent lifting above shoulder level and occasional lifting below waist
  • Familiarity with ergonomic lifting techniques
