The Social Work program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a full-time, academic-year, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a CSWE-accredited program within the School of Nursing and Health Professions. Our school prepares students to lead and serve in today's rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. With a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, interprofessional collaboration, and hands-on training, we foster a holistic approach to care that empowers graduates to make a lasting impact in diverse clinical and community settings. The successful candidate will primarily teach in the Master of Social Work programs, delivering live and hybrid courses. Teaching responsibilities will include core curriculum areas such as micro and macro practice, ethics, diversity, policy, research methods, and field seminars. In addition to teaching, the faculty member will actively contribute to departmental and university service, engage in professional service to the field of social work, and pursue scholarly activities including publishing and seeking internal and external funding. The start date for this academic year position will be August of 2026.
