As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a positive atmosphere for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site procedures, maintaining accurate and timely records.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to manage the flow of personnel and vehicles within the location.
• Remain alert to surroundings and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
