As a Security Officer - Financial Screener in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Screener in a financial institution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to guests and team members. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized persons from entering the location.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a security-related presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
