As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Full-Time in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and attentive observation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the location, especially in areas related to technology, media, or telecommunications.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and monitoring entry points as required by site procedures.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or local law enforcement as situations require.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks specific to technology, media, and telecommunications environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
