Job Description




As a Security Officer - Government Evening Watch in ORLANDO, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming and supportive environment for all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Adhere to all company and client policies, including those related to confidentiality and access control.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
