As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will remain visible throughout the facility, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with all individuals. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification when required, and helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Support Allied Universal and client leadership in maintaining a welcoming and orderly environment within the healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
