Security Officer - Campus Patrol Shift

As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol Shift in Castle Hayne, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or hazards to the appropriate authorities and/or Allied Universal management.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response efforts and provide assistance during drills, evacuations, or other incidents as directed by site leadership or Allied Universal.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
