Job Description

Position Summary
The Missouri Student Survey School Survey Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the administration of the Missouri Student Survey (MSS)-a statewide initiative that collects critical data on youth behaviors, mental health, and risk factors to inform prevention strategies. This position is responsible for managing registrations for 96 public schools randomly selected to participate in the MSS, conducting outreach to ensure engagement, and maintaining accurate records of all communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage registration processes for 96 randomly selected schools across Missouri using Excel, Word, and Outlook, ensuring accuracy and compliance with MSS protocols.
  • Conduct outreach and cold calls to schools that have not registered, explaining the importance of MSS participation and addressing questions.
  • Track all contacts and communications with schools in an organized manner to ensure timely follow-up and documentation.
  • Follow up with registered schools to confirm participation, provide reminders, and assist with any logistical needs (e.g., class list submissions for survey codes).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and state partners to resolve registration issues and support MSS goals.
  • Prepare summary reports of outreach and registration activities for program leadership.

Shift

20 hours/week. Monday thru Friday. Funding ends March 31, 2026

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applies skills and knowledge in a variety of processes, procedures and systems throughout the research function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for data tracking, Word for documentation, Outlook for email and scheduling).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for cold calling and follow-up correspondence.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple schools and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and contact tracking.
  • Ability to build rapport and persuade stakeholders to participate.
Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $17.05 - $23.37 per hour
Grade: GGS-007
