Location: USA (Remote/Hybrid, with travel across North America)

Reporting to: North America AMS Practice Head

Job Brief

We are looking for a Technical Architect to design the structure of our IT systems and oversee programs to ensure the proper architecture is implemented.
In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to translate complex requirements into functional architecture. We'd also like you to have hands-on experience on software development and be able to manage complex programs.


Responsibilities

* Architect and govern end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and other modules.

* Lead technical design sessions, create detailed architecture blueprints, and ensure adherence to best practices.

* Define and implement integration strategies using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and third-party systems.

* Oversee ServiceNow instance upgrades, patching, and performance optimization for scalability and reliability.

* Develop and enforce coding standards, data models, and CMDB design aligned with CSDM and ITIL guidelines.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and roadmap planning.

* Manage and mentor development teams, conduct design reviews, and ensure quality delivery of custom applications.

* Implement security and compliance measures within ServiceNow architecture, including role-based access and audit controls.

* Drive automation initiatives leveraging Flow Designer, Orchestration, and DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines.

* Stay current with ServiceNow releases and innovations; assess new features for adoption and business impact.

* Create technical documentation, solution diagrams, and governance models for enterprise implementations.

* Engage in pre-sales activities, provide technical thought leadership, and support client workshops and demos.


Requirements and Skills

* Hands-on experience with software development and system administration

* Understanding of strategic IT solutions

* Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA)

* Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. JavaScript, Java)

* Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. MySQL)

* Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. VMware)

* Excellent communication skills

* Problem-solving aptitude

* Organizational and leadership skills

* BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
