Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, operational management, and ongoing optimization of in-house food programs. You will bring experience in Food and Nutrition Services and serve as a proactive project manager who drives provider engagement, process improvement, and supplier collaboration to achieve program objectives and deliver measurable value. Responsibilities:
Manage the overarching structure, processes, and procedures required to implement inhouse food supply programs, ensuring alignment with Vizient's standards and client objectives. Provide comprehensive training and support to internal and external stakeholders on program components, onboarding requirements, and platform functionalities. Oversee the successful onboarding of providers into both inhouse and outsourced solutions, ensuring seamless integration and contract compliance. Continuously evaluate, document, and enhance operational processes by proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, driving efficiency, mitigating risks, and supporting scalability and overall program value realization. Serve as the primary liaison for providers, suppliers, and internal teams, managing issue resolution, escalations, inquiries, and ad hoc requests while ensuring clear and timely communication. Schedule and participate in regular business reviews with key suppliers, distributors, and providers to monitor performance, share feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement. Track, analyze, and report on program metrics and key performance indicators, including financial performance, participation rates, and contract utilization. Leverage data analytics to identify cost savings opportunities, monitor compliance, and deliver actionable insights for stakeholders. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with providers and suppliers by facilitating open communication, sharing program updates and strategic objectives, and fostering effective partnership. Effectively translate program data and insights into clear, actionable communication for diverse audiences, including leadership, providers, and suppliers.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred. 5 or more years of relevant work experience required. Registered Dietitian strongly preferred. Experience in program management, operations, or implementation-experience in foodservice, and healthcare strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects, driving stakeholder engagement, and leading process improvement initiatives. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; experience with reporting and performance monitoring tools. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with group purchasing organizations (GPOs), contract management, and multi-site operational environments is an advantage. Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet the clients' needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
