Summary:

In this role, you will operate as a strategic advisor and trusted thought partner to leaders across the Data & Digital organization. Leveraging strong business acumen and deep HR expertise, you will shape and guide people strategies that deliver measurable business impact.

You will partner closely with business clients and HR Centers of Excellence to design and implement integrated talent solutions that enhance organizational capability and enable long-term growth. This includes providing strategic counsel on performance management, organizational design, workforce planning, and culture development.

Through clear insight, thoughtful challenge, and proactive guidance, you will help leaders navigate complex talent needs, strengthen team effectiveness, and build an environment where employees are equipped and empowered to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess business conditions, emerging trends, and operational challenges to develop and implement people strategies that address critical needs and advance business objectives.

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders, including coaching, counseling, career development support, and guidance on corrective actions.

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality HR service by collaborating closely with Centers of Expertise (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Change Management, etc.) to ensure integrated and effective solutions.

  • Partner with senior leaders and employees to strengthen workplace relationships, enhance morale, and drive improvements in productivity, engagement, and retention.

  • Support talent development by enhancing bench strength and retention of key roles through succession planning, career development, leadership development, and team-building initiatives; identify development needs across business units, including executive coaching requirements.

  • Provide strategic guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, structure optimization, and succession strategies to enable long-term organizational health.

  • Lead talent management discussions to identify critical capabilities required for successful execution of current and future business strategies.

  • Contribute to strategic talent acquisition planning and partner on recruitment initiatives to ensure alignment with workforce needs and organizational priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. (i.e., Human Resources, Business, or related field)

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Proven capability in building and sustaining high-performing, cohesive teams.

  • Expertise in navigating organizational change within complex systems, including conflict resolution and group dynamics.

  • Strong written, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with demonstrated effectiveness in group facilitation.

  • Ability to operate successfully within a matrixed environment, supporting multiple business units and priorities.

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with HR Centers of Excellence and senior business leaders to drive strategic outcomes.

  • Exceptional leadership presence with strong influencing, consulting, and negotiation capabilities.

  • Advanced diagnostic, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills.

  • Maintain a high level of discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as business needs require.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
