About the RoleThe Director of Operations within the TAAP (Tax, Accounting and Audit Professionals) Business Integration team will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across key commercial functions, with accountability for outcomes in three domains:
- Sales Support - Overseeing resources that enable the TAAP sales teams to operate efficiently and effectively across GTM systems and complex commercial processes.
- Process Excellence - Designing and implementing best-in-class processes for critical aspects of the TAAP business leveraging an AI-first mindset to drive efficiency and automation where possible.
- Data/Reporting- Establishing a centralized capability to gather, integrate, and analyze segment commercial and performance data, providing actionable insights to support decision-making and business growth.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational and data expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions to deliver scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own, optimize, and continuously improve end to end operating processes that support day-to-day TAAP sales execution, establishing clear service levels, controls, and feedback loops to ensure reliability and scale.
- Ensure alignment between operations and broader business objectives - driving scalability, accuracy, and efficiency in workflows.
- Partner with Sales leadership to identify and implement processes that elevate seller and customer experience across the revenue lifecycle.
- Lead the design and execution of initiatives or special projects as needed in response to evolving business needs and workflow gaps for TAAP sales and commercial teams.
- Champion experimentation and adoption of AI and automation for continuous operations improvement and transformation.
- Deliver real-time insights and reporting on sales support demand, capacity and delivery that can be used to optimize day-to-day team focus and efficiency.
- Develop and operationalize best-in-class frameworks and support for new strategic and acquired products, including (but not limited to) product entitlement across disparate systems.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on TAAP business and sales processes to inform design and support the transition to strategic/future commercial systems.
- Establish a next-gen data and reporting function to support all teams, roles and stakeholders within the segment.
- Deliver actionable insights through best-in-class visual dashboards, reports, and analysis to support business strategic decision-making, performance, and planning.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to segment leadership, providing data-driven recommendations and operational insights.
- Drive end-to-end process alignment across sales, marketing, and customer success to support a seamless and successful customer journey that optimizes sustained revenue growth.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team, actively developing and supporting key talent to optimize delivery against business needs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration in achieving team and business goals.
About You
- 7+ years of progressive experience in operations, sales operations, commercial strategy, or related functions within SaaS or technology-enabled businesses
- 5+ years of people management experience, including building and leading cross-functional teams, setting operating cadences, and developing talent.
- Demonstrated success designing, scaling, and governing enterprise-grade operating processes for commercial organizations; proven ability to drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics, visualization, reporting, and BI platforms; experience establishing standardized metrics, dashboards, and data governance for executive decision support.
- Track record of leading AI and automation-enabled transformations in operational workflows.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; effective at executive-level influence, change leadership, and cross-functional alignment.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $135,800 - $252,200. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
