Acara Solution is looking for an Advanced Software Engineer for our client located in Scottsdale, AZ.

  • As a software engineer for the SDA GMI program, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational systems.
  • Software application development in a process-oriented organisation.
  • Maintains hardware, software, and related components of the project.
  • Infrastructure development in a process-oriented organisation.
  • Performs infrastructure requirements analysis, participates in research, designs, develops, and tests software and tools, including the development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems, or embedded products.
  • Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the development of complex architectures.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics with 5 years of experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Kafka, Linux, Java, React, Docker/Kubernetes.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Agile experience.
  • DevSecOps.
  • Cloud Services AWS).
  • MPLS/Networking.
  • GitLab/Jenkins.
  • Jira.
  • Ability to lead the software development process.
  • Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways.
  • Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success.
  • Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
