Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work hybrid with our client in Indianapolis, IN. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • This Commodity Support Role will support the Global Commodity Managers across all Indirect Commodities such as Logistics, Corporate Services, Manufacturing, Facilities Management, Engineering Services, Test and Tooling.
  • Adhere to the company's code of ethics.
  • Comply & Ensure Compliance with the company's processes and policies.
  • Investigate chronic invoicing issues; resolve the root cause to maintain on-time and accurate supplier payments.
  • Support special projects within the business as needed.
  • Review contractual agreements and supplier compliance.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements, terms of business, and final pricing.
  • Audit of Supplier data as requested.
  • Maintain data integrity in Coupa.
  • Administer Sourcing Events for Assigned sites and issue purchase orders.
  • Primarily small business interaction.
  • CMC ceramic composite materials are a newer technology.
  • Contact multiple vendors and get them to use the client's processes.
  • SAP is not at the location yet, but it is coming.
  • Assist the Category Team as necessary.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $27.35/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience supporting supply chain/procurement.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in cross-functional working.
  • Some procurement experience and negotiation skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Good skills in managing time & tasks to completion.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Excel, Word, and excellent professional writing skills.
