Job Description:

This position is responsible assembling mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components to customer supplied specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Utilize blue prints to assemble components.

Ensure Quality Auditor is called in to verify work.
Bolt, clamp, fasten components according to drawing specifications.

Perform light tacking/welding when required.

Can read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Understand how too safely test operate equipment to verify assembly was done properly.

Use hand power tools such as grinders, belt sanders, die grinders, wrenches, vice grips, ect.

Proficient using fabrication measurement tools (squares, tape measures, levels, magnets).
Utilize QC packets to determine build quantity.

Grease all points after assembly prior to moving product out of area.
Repair, disassemble, and reassemble refurb components.

Operate forklifts, hoists, and cranes.

Touch up areas of paint to ensure proper quality after assembly.
Responsible for executing and supporting the quality system and procedures in the effort for continuous improvement.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Assemble products to engineering specification with the highest level of quality.
Make suggestions for improvement to products and processes
