You Are:

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining enterprise-level solutions and related documentation to support strategic and technological initiatives. This role ensures that all solutions align with established Enterprise Architecture and Information Security standards and contributes to the ongoing stability, reliability, and scalability of systems and applications.

The Opportunity:

* Deliver and maintain comprehensive solution designs and supporting documentation.

* Ensure end-to-end architectural integrity and alignment with enterprise standards.

* Maintain solution maps, logical and component diagrams, and architecture artifacts.

* Develop and maintain enterprise architecture documentation and design artifacts.

* Maintain information security documentation and support security evaluations.

* Provide deep technical expertise in ETL processes and Ab Initio platform.

* Design scalable integration solutions for data processing and transformation.

* Maintain architecture for mobile and web solutions (iOS, Android, responsive web).

* Ensure solutions comply with Enterprise Architecture and Information Security guidelines.

* Participate in Ecosystem Architecture Review (EAR) and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.

* Support Technology Standards and Assurance Group (TSAG) requests and technology roadmap alignment.

* Serve as a key technical resource for stakeholders and external partners.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize solutions addressing business needs.

* Manage architecture Kanban board, including defects and technical debt items.

* Stay updated on latest architecture trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

* Support proofs of concept (POCs) and evaluate solution risks across business, application, and technology layers.

* High-level design and architectural flow diagrams for UI and backend systems.

* Logical and component architecture diagrams and artifacts.

* Enterprise architecture documentation and security compliance artifacts.

* Support for POCs and alignment with technology standards.

* Contribution to enterprise architecture standards and methodologies.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

* 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 3 years in ETL and Ab Initio.

* Strong experience in ETL tools and frameworks, with advanced proficiency in Ab Initio.

* Solid understanding of data integration, transformation, and performance optimization.

* Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and security principles.

* Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

* Experience with mobile and web architecture (iOS, Android, responsive web).

* Preferred:

o Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., CA Agile Central).

o Experience in healthcare or insurance domain (BCBSA ecosystem knowledge is a plus).



Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $94,000-$141,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
