KPMG is currently seeking a Financial Service Sales Leader to join our Business Development team.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with financial service leadership, lead partners, and advisory market leaders to contribute to a comprehensive strategy that aligns with KPMG Advisory's overall business goals and objectives
  • Deliver appropriate annual sales forecasting and participate in the setting of sales targets for team members
  • Manage performance of team members including pipeline management, deal qualification, forecasting and progress toward sales goals
  • Oversee proactively demand generation efforts to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified deals originated by the sales team; hold team members accountable for execution of strategies or plans for market pods and/or accounts
  • Identify and address the status of client pursuits in the sales cycle; identify barriers encountered and assist team members in resolving issues/barriers
  • Evaluate sales data and market conditions to develop and deploy areas for enhancement and growth
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum fifteen years of recent experience demonstrated business development, sales, and client management in a professional services environment, with background managing corporate accounts with direct sales responsibility within the financial services industry is required; minimum five years of recent experience demonstrated success in managing and coaching teams to deliver on sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or fifteen years of relevant work experience in enterprise level sales within financial services is preferred. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to have conversations with leaders/C-suite executives across all functional areas of their business
  • Proven success in originating, shaping & closing large complex professional services deals
  • In-depth knowledge of assigned industry including competitive landscape, market trends, and more
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating across the client's business and effectively balancing the needs of varying stakeholders
  • Ability to travel regularly
