Position Summary:

Independent contributor IT professional, applying technical expertise in one or more IT disciplines. develops, customizes, configures, installs and supports packages. Understands the work processes of assigned business areas. Collect user requirements and translate them into well-engineered, tested, and deployed business application systems. Responsibilities include analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of information. Receives general direction, work in progress is reviewed routinely.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the design and development of Pharmacy IT systems.

2. Develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements.

3. Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information about technology processes or systems.

4. Independently designs technical solutions for modules of a project, or to resolve most problems.

5. Selects appropriate work procedures or approaches to address technical challenges.

6. Provide hardware and troubleshooting software

7. Provide day-to-day assistance with application issues.

8. Provide Go-Live, implementation, and post implementation support Interact with clinical staff and vendors

9. Strong experience in working to educate Clinical and administrative staff around new systems and provide application training for a variety of users to include physicians, nurses, and other associated staff around various healthcare systems and associated technologies.

10. Receive inbound calls and document all issues accurately and appropriately

11. Provide support of HL7 interface/knowledge of HL7 interfaces

12. Additional support responsibilities and duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Typically requires 2 or more years of experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Hospital or Pharmacy Ancillary Systems preferred

Database: SQL Server

Servers/Application Management: Windows VM servers and Linux VM Servers

End point Devices : Windows 11 OS, Networking and Network Security

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $97,347.22 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
