POSITION SUMMARY

This role supports key accounting and financial activities, including product costing, financial reporting, and data analysis. Under minimal direction, you will be responsible for developing financial models, analyzing revenue and cost drivers, and translating financial insights into actionable business recommendations. This position requires strong analytical skills, solid accounting knowledge, and advanced Power BI capabilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Works on problems of diverse scopes where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. (Essential)
  • Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways by using skills and a full understanding of industry practices and company policies, and procedures. (Essential)
  • Support the month-end close process, including journal entries and variance analysis. (Essential)
  • Develop financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning. (Essential)
  • Perform revenue, margin, and cost analysis. (Essential)
  • Translate financial data and insights into actionable steps to support company financial goals. (Essential)
  • Analyze key operational and financial KPI's to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. (Essential)
  • Partner with operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to understand cost drivers and financial impacts. (Essential)
  • Support implementation/enhancement of ERP system (SAP) and reporting tools. (Essential)
  • Work with the Controller and CFO to develop strategies that improve profitability, cost control, cash flow, and operational efficiency. (Essential)
  • Prepares monthly executive PowerPoint presentations, including graphs, supporting details, and comments. (Essential)
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and related schedules in a timely manner. (Essential)
  • Support parent company inquiries, including performing the necessary research and documentation as required. (Essential)
  • Performs annual and revised budgeting cycle activities, including departmental budgeting. (Essential)
  • Backfill for ERP conversion, accounting department resource requirements. (Essential)
  • Prepares and assists in preparing documentation for annual financial audit and quarterly reviews as needed. (Essential)
  • Support and backup accounting group, including willingness to perform other accounting staff functions, including, but not limited to, accounts receivable processing, accounts payable processing, inventory audits, and filing. (Essential)
  • Complies with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara safety policies. (Essential)
  • Performs other duties as assigned. (Non-Essential)

Education



  • Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent education.


Experience



  • Four (4) to six (6) years' financial accounting experience, including financial reporting, financial analysis, or related accounting roles, preferably in a multi-company environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of financial accounting concepts and theories, cost accounting, or manufacturing accounting exposure.
  • Must have demonstrated Power BI expertise-data shaping, visualization, interactive dashboard creation, and advanced DAX used to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Working knowledge of general policies and procedures.


SKILLS & ABILITIES



  • Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-level accounting department and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and Organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
