Job Title: Business Analyst 3. Location: Austin, TX. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Our client is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the Business Analyst position within the client. This position will perform senior level consultative services and technical assistance work in analysis for program related activities. Work involves analyzing clients' priority initiatives and special projects utilizing business analysis best practices in coordination with agency business and program units. Duties include assessing, analyzing, researching, facilitating and documenting requirements, assuring the use of best practices and standards, assisting in the coordination and optimization of client's operations and program functions and providing recommendations. This position is responsible for assisting with the facilitation and analysis across numerous related initiatives and leading special projects as assigned by agency leadership. These responsibilities include developing business analysis tools; defining requirements; reporting progress on key projects to management; providing recommendations to agency leadership. This position will also work with staff to initiate, facilitate or participate in projects to maximize the success of multiple and diverse projects. Works under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Requirements: 8 Years Required: Ability to research, gather, assemble, correlate and analyze system requirements; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems and prioritize information and issues. 8 Years Required: Ability to develop and present reports identifying gaps in functionality and operational effectiveness to executive stakeholders. 8 Years Required: Develops or contributes to the development of as-is / to-be process models to identify opportunities for greater operational efficiencies. Skilled in effectively mapping business processes and identifying process improvements and skilled in planning. 8 Years Required: Experience with the analysis of program policies and procedures to determine their effect on automated systems and system functional areas. 8 Years Required: Works with the functional teams to understand current and upcoming needs not currently met with existing processes and technology solutions. 5 Years Preferred: Experience creating strong relationships with project stakeholders. Must possess strong communication and presentation skills. Work with stakeholders to identify, define and document requirements. 5 Years Preferred: Experience developing strategic and project SDLC materials, including gap analysis, recommendations, roadmaps, requirements, design documents, test cases, and use cases. 1 Year Preferred: Possess UX design experience.
