The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate with a strong background in qualitative research to support ongoing implementation science projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and thrive in both independent and collaborative environments.

Responsibilities



  • Support data collection through planning, observing and facilitating interviews, focus groups, and observations.
  • Transcribe, code, and analyze qualitative data using Dedoose.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with ethical research standards.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated experience with qualitative research methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively


Preferred Qualifications



  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Public Health, Education, or related disciplines)
  • Experience using qualitative data analysis software, particularly Dedoose


Other Requirements



  • Medical clearance and participation in the medical surveillance program

    • Contact with patients and/or human research subjects


  • Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
