The Position
2026 Summer Intern - Translational Medicine OMNI Department Summary The Translational Medicine department at Genentech provides translational research to inform clinical development in disease areas of Ophthalmology, Metabolism, Neuroscience, Immunology and Infectious Diseases (TM-OMNI). Our research encompasses cutting edge support of clinical biomarker discovery and development, development of personalized healthcare strategies, and clinical translational research to study the molecular and cellular pathways driving disease to generate novel target and biomarker approaches. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site. The Opportunity This internship offers a unique opportunity for a highly motivated PhD candidate with a background in computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics, immunology, neuroimmunology, or a related field. The intern will gain hands-on experience on analysis of proteomics data within the context of multiple sclerosis research. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, the intern will contribute to advancing our translational research efforts in multiple sclerosis. Program Highlights

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location ofCalifornia is $50.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
