As a Security Officer - Government Entry Screening in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a respected government location, you will monitor entrances and conduct security-related screenings to help maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Monitor entrances and exits, screen individuals entering the location, and verify credentials as required for access control.
• Assist with maintaining order and decorum within the location, helping to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, observing for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed regarding incidents or observations.
• Prepare and submit incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
