This executive-level Vice President of Marketing role is a transformational leadership position crucial for driving rapid growth and pipeline generation within a global organization. The successful Talent will be responsible for leading "teams of teams" through significant marketing transformations, integrating strategies across both physical technical services and digital SaaS divisions. This role demands a seasoned professional with deep marketing expertise, the ability to guide the big picture, and a strong focus on leveraging AI to innovate and accelerate marketing effectiveness. Our client is a private equity-backed global leader in the food and beverage industry, with a dual focus on providing physical technical services for certification and testing, alongside a rapidly growing digital solutions division offering SaaS and database products. The company is nearing the end of its ownership cycle, emphasizing a critical need for continued rapid growth and increased pipeline generation. The marketing team is dynamic and global, working across various cultures and business units, including the UK, US, Brazil, and Italy. Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute global marketing strategies to drive rapid growth and pipeline generation across dual business segments (physical technical services and digital SaaS).
* Manage and transform "teams of teams" within a global marketing organization, fostering collaboration and high performance.
* Develop and implement AI-driven marketing initiatives to enhance efficiency, personalization, and overall marketing effectiveness.
* Provide strategic oversight and guidance on the big picture marketing vision, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives.
* Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership, sales, product, and private equity partners.
* Assimilate quickly into different cultures and adapt marketing strategies to global market nuances.
* Oversee budget allocation and resource management for global marketing operations.
* Drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and market positioning in the food and beverage industry. Qualifications:
* 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive-level role (e.g., VP of Marketing, CMO).
* Private equity experience.
* Proven track record of leading "teams of teams" and successful marketing transformations in global B2B SaaS environments.
* Demonstrated experience in high ACV (Annual Contract Value) B2B SaaS.
* Strong understanding of and experience with private equity-backed business models and growth objectives.
* Expertise in leveraging AI for marketing strategy, demand generation, and operational efficiency.
* High emotional intelligence, tact, and a strong backbone for effective leadership and stakeholder management.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Ability to travel internationally regularly (at least quarterly).
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. #app
