Technology Architect

Peraton is seeking a Technology Architect in Washington D.C. who will be responsible for serving as the technical advisor to senior agency executives, ensuring the research and development supports the agencies' near and long-term goals. The selected individual is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the Agency's technology architecture.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
• Researching, evaluating, and recommending appropriate technologies
• Developing and maintaining enterprise architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and standards
• Overseeing system integrations and ensuring interoperability across all Task Areas and work centers
• Ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations
• Managing technical debt
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the agency to deliver scalable, reliable, and cost-effective technology solutions in alignment with the Agency's strategic objectives.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to the task areas
• Participating in project planning and execution
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Agency's technology infrastructure and processes.
• Integrate the Task Areas within the larger Agency enterprise and collaborate with other business units to ensure seamless operations across the Agency enterprise IT environment.

Required:

• Requires an active TS/SCI
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; 4 additional years relevant experience can be substituted for degree
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience with complex solutions architectures.
• Demonstrated experience in managing, designing, and implementing automation and orchestration systems, hybrid platforms supporting broad systems architectures, and integrating new solutions with existing systems.
• DoD 8140 IAT II compliant.

Preferred:

• Certifications in order of preference:
  • Azure or AWS Solutions Architect
  • Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
  • Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (retired in 2021)
