As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry and exit points, conducting regular patrols, and maintaining a strong presence throughout the location. Your role is key in supporting the secure movement of people and goods, all while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel as needed.
• Assist in the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and to observe for unusual activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in daily reports as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site staff and Allied Universal management regarding any issues or concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including initiating communication with appropriate personnel or authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
