Description
As an Industrial Specialist Sales Representative, you will be developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with paint distributors, professional painters, facilities and manufacturers in the Wisconsin market. You will specialize in Industrial Coatings, Liquid Coatings, and Powder Coatings. Key Responsibilities: 
 
 
   
  - Service existing customer accounts and find opportunities for growth within the sales territory.
 - Facilitate product recommendations (application, performance, and color).
 - Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
 - Utilize CRM tool to manage accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run analytics reports.
 - Analyze territory performance and develop sales territory business plans.
 - Use initiative in handling customer problems, complaints and warranty issues to resolve in a timely manner.
 - Work with Dealer representatives to schedule weekly calls at either dealer and/or end-user locations and ensure timely follow-up and response to any specific customer needs.
 - Through either partnering with dealer sales force or through own initiative, call on architectural firms, general contractors, and engineering firms to get Pittsburgh Paints products specified.
 - Prioritize/conduct dealer/end-user education and product information seminars.
 
   
  
 
 Qualifications: 
 
 
   
  - 3 years of sales experience, with shown success required.
 - Minimum education: High School Diploma. Bachelor's degree in business related field is strongly preferred.
 - You must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record, as outlined by PPC policy.
 - Outstanding interpersonal, communication, negotiating and presentation skills are required.
 - Coatings or related building industry knowledge is strongly preferred.
 - Travel up to 50% in the Wisconsin market.
