The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.The Business Analyst is a strategic enabler of insight and impact within the Customer Value Practice-translating complex data into clear, actionable intelligence that drives transformation across programs and practices. This role blends analytical rigor with compelling storytelling to inform executive decisions and elevate operational excellence.The Business Analyst contributes to AI-powered transformation through data-driven insights, interactive dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks. While not solely focused on AI, the role actively identifies opportunities to amplify value through intelligent analytics. This includes:* Designing executive-ready dashboards that track KPIs and program health.* Crafting compelling data narratives that influence strategic direction.* Embedding analytics into transformation programs to ensure measurable outcomes.* Partnering across verticals and horizontals to ensure data quality, consistency, and relevance. 3 days / week in-office Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & Insights: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions. Use statistical methods and data analysis tools to extract meaningful information.Storytelling with Data: Translate complex analytics into clear, engaging narratives for technical and non-technical audiences. Develop presentations and reports that tell a clear and engaging story.Visualization & Dashboards: Create high-quality data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and dashboards, to represent data insights visually. Use tools such as Power BI, or similar, to develop interactive and dynamic visualizations and to monitor KPIs and program health.Collaboration: Work closely with data stewards and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance.Reporting and Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings. Create and deliver regular reports to stakeholders.Continuous Improvement: Stay current on best practices in analytics, visualization, and AI-driven insights.Compliance: Ensure all reporting aligns with Microsoft security and privacy standards.Security: Ensure our data access & availability through dashboards, scorecards, and other reporting sources is compliant with Microsoft security & privacy standardsOther:Embody our culture and values.
