What You'll Do

As a Project Management Intern, you will support the planning, development, and delivery of capital projects within the Project Management Office. You will gain hands-on experience in project development, controls, and reporting, assisting experienced Project Managers and Engineers in ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. Other duties include:

  • Support Project Managers and Engineers with project documentation, reporting, and data collection
  • Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts under supervision.
  • Participate in safety reviews, job hazard analyses, and site walkdowns
  • Help prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and status reports
  • Learn and apply the PMO's Project Management System (PMS) and FEL stage-gate process
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including standard templates, data dashboards, and project tracking tools
  • Maintain project files and support document control processes.
  • Shadow senior team members to gain exposure to stakeholder engagement, procurement, and contractor management.
  • Ensure compliance with Company HSEOE policies and actively promote safe work practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Junior level standing pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline), or Construction Management, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles (scope, schedule, cost, and risk)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills. Comfortable working in field and office environments
  • Willingness to learn about engineering drawings, equipment specifications, and process system
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

Duration: 10 - 12 weeks
