Position Summary
Step into a rewarding role where you'll be a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to supporting clients experiencing their first episode of schizophrenia. With a caseload of approximately 40 clients aged 14-26, you'll engage in meaningful work that makes a difference in young lives. Your responsibilities will include comprehensive psychosocial assessments, diagnostic formulations, family and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and timely clinical documentation within our electronic health record. Collaboration is key as you work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and program administrators. Additionally, you'll contribute to community outreach efforts across Baltimore to promote education and foster referrals.


Education:



  • Master of Social Work (MSW) required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Expertise in community resources relevant to mental health and social functioning
  • Understanding of the medical and psychosocial impacts of mental illness
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and address complex patient needs
  • Skilled in developing tailored biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans
  • Proficient in conflict resolution and initiating corrective actions
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficient with electronic health records and communication tools
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills for professional interactions


Required Licensure and Certification:



  • Valid LCSW-C or LMSW required




Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
