Job Summary: The People & Culture Coaching and Senior Facilitation Specialist, National Leadership Development role is responsible for facilitating virtual and in-person learning experiences to support key firm and business line initiatives. The Coaching and Facilitation Senior Specialist provides strong leadership and classroom presence for the delivery of National Leadership Development and specialized team development programs. This role works with other internal and external resources as needed to implement holistic solutions for all leaders to effectively develop their skills and capabilities. The Coaching and Facilitation Senior Specialist navigates group discussions, 1:1 coaching and content presentation with great adaptability, poise, and ease, providing the most engaging and impactful experience possible for participants in National Leadership Development programs. They are also a dedicated resource for BDO's Exceptional & Engaged Leaders premiere milestone programs, leading a cohort of senior leaders through a highly immersive, year-long cohort-based leadership development experience including in-person and virtual workshops and an extensive roster of internal coaching clients. Job Duties:
- Conducts expert facilitation of programs designed to build core leadership skills and competencies in all BDO employees and Principals, both in-person and virtually
- Reviews and provides feedback on instructor-led training documentation and materials, including instructor materials, student handouts, student exercises, presentation materials and end user guides
- Supports Train-the-Trainer preparation calls, as needed
- Contributes ideas on ways National Leadership Development can make firm leadership development programs and resources engaging and applicable to the needs of the firm's professionals
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with representatives of various business lines, as needed
- Partners closely with internal resources to ensure requirements for Continuing Professional Education are met
- Provides input on the launch of scalable leadership development initiatives impacting all business lines, as needed
- Partners with business leaders and People & Culture colleagues to identify key skill gaps, aligning facilitation and approach to 1:1 and group coaching with individual, team and/or organizational goals
- Contributes to the design and facilitation of cross-functional coaching programs, supporting talent mobility and performance growth across diverse practice areas
- Facilitates focus group discussions, participates in training needs assessments with Curriculum team and delivers assessment findings with actionable insights for senior leadership and teams
- Acts as resource for individualized and group leadership coaching for leaders at all levels, leveraging tools like CliftonStrengths and 360 assessments to drive self-awareness, performance improvement, and long-term development planning

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education:
- Bachelor's degree, required
- Major in Human Resources, Leadership Development, or Organizational Development, preferred
Experience:
- Three (3) or more years of experience in virtual and/or in-person facilitation, required
- Experience in leadership development and coaching, required
- Experience presenting to large audiences, required
- Experience troubleshooting and navigating technical issues quickly to preserve the learning experience, required
- Experience facilitating meetings and/or learning events in both face-to-face and virtual environments, required
- Experience using facilitation methods and techniques to keep participants engaged during learning events, required
- Experience in creating positive learning climates/environments, required
- Knowledge of types and applications of instructional methods and techniques such as discussion, self-directed learning, role playing, lecture, action learning, demonstration, and/or exercise, required
- Experience in a professional services firm, preferred
- Experience formulating and implementing training/performance improvement strategies, methodologies, and procedures for standardization and delivery throughout a large organization, preferred
- Experience supporting the logistical tasks associated with planning meetings or learning events, preferred
- Experience aligning delivery methods and media for training and/or learning events to the desired learning or behavioral outcomes, preferred
- Experience with utilizing learning assets such as role plays, self-assessments, training manuals, job aids, and visual aids that align to a desired learning or behavioral outcome, preferred
- Experience in eliciting and using knowledge and information from subject matter experts and business partners to support and/or enhance learning, preferred
License/Certifications:
- ICF credential OR 60 hours of training and certification through a credible coach training organization, plus 100+ hours of coaching experience, required
- ICF ACC+ certification in professional coaching, preferred
- CliftonStrengths Global Coach Certification, preferred
- Zenger Folkman Extraordinary Leader 360 Certification, preferred
Software:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, required
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required
- Experience with SharePoint, preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range:
$105,000 - $125,000
Maryland Range:
$105,000 - $125,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range:
$105,000 - $125,000
