POSITION OVERVIEW:

Provides strategic direction for enterprise cloud adoption and planning, ensuring technology investments deliver secure, scalable and cost-effective platforms that enable long-term business growth and operational resilience

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage, lead, and develop a team of high-performing cloud strategy professionals fostering capability growth and continuous improvement
2. Define cloud provider strategies, guiding selection and usage to maximize value and performance
3. Develop and oversee workload migration roadmaps to ensure secure and cost-effective transitions to cloud environments
4. Establish cloud infrastructure standards and governance practices to ensure scalability and alignment with enterprise architecture
5. Support the evaluation of cloud vendor contracts and negotiations to optimize cost, performance and service-level agreements (SLAs)
6. Lead cloud and infrastructure capacity planning to anticipate future demand and align with long-term business growth
7. Partner with security, engineering, and product leaders to ensure cloud strategy decisions integrate effectively with enterprise-wide priorities
8. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems and / or related field or equivalent formal training
Five (5) years of experience in infrastructure, cloud or information technology (IT) strategic planning roles
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and workload migration strategies
Proven experience developing infrastructure standards and capacity planning models
Familiarity with vendor contract evaluation and management in cloud and infrastructure domains
Strong analytical skills to evaluate cloud capacity, cost efficiency and performance trade-offs
Effective communication and influencing skills to guide stakeholders on cloud strategies and vendor decisions
