Shared Services: IS App Technical Services- (Full-Time, Day Shift) - Job Summary: The Coordinator-Release & Environment manages and completes department projects and tasks. Creates, maintains and organizes all environment management related artifacts. Manages and authorizes access and usage of non-production environments. Perform other duties as needed.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security or related discipline required or an additional four years of experience required in lieu of Degree. Minimum four years of experience in information systems application support, software development, and/or release management required. Minimum two years of healthcare and hospital experience preferred. Minimum one year of experience in application release management in information systems environments preferred. Minimum one year of experience supporting EHR Systems software preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Broad knowledge and understanding of computer hardware, applications, network, and operating systems, and information systems environment management standards, methodologies, and alternatives for differing requirements. Knowledge of generally known IT platforms and standards, server-based environment management strategies, software development lifecycle, system interface structures and standards. Knowledge of Epic Data Courier function, healthcare clinical and revenue cycle workflows and standards, change control practices and ITIL standards preferred. Knowledge and understanding of related IT trends. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, Access, and other project management tools. Relate and communicate positively and effectively with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate; accept direction. Deal effectively with people and elicit support from other department areas, vendors, and customers. Excellent analytic and documentation skills. Organize technical work; demonstrate excellent planning, problem solving, analysis, and presentation skills; analyze and interpret data, processes and needs based on limited information; make recommendations; manage time and multiple tasks effectively; plan and implement objectives effectively. Think critically and work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; compose written material; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
Licensures and Certifications: LLEAP/EHR training and certification preferred and may be required within one year of employment.
