About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure the reliable operation of our 24/7 bakery by leading a team of technicians, overseeing equipment maintenance, and driving continuous improvement to keep production running safely and efficiently.

• Shift: 2nd
• Hours: 2p - 10:30p
• Weekend availability: Required

Compensation

• Salary Range: $88,000 - 96,000

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians to ensure safe, highquality, and timely maintenance work.
• Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, process, and building equipment.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities, including preventive and emergency maintenance.
• Manage 24/7 line coverage schedules, employee time and attendance, and overtime allocation.
• Monitor department performance metrics and provide regular updates to the Maintenance Manager.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to forecast plant maintenance needs and recommend equipment repair or replacement plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, accident prevention practices, and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School diploma.
• College/Technical degree or 7+ years of manufacturing environment experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated maintenance expertise in hydraulics, mechanical systems, electrical functions, and process equipment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures, including cold and humid environments, as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods and use a computer for more than 20% of total work time.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• PLC electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience working with ammonia systems and familiarity with PSM standards.
• Background in food manufacturing or automated production environments.
• Experience developing or improving preventive maintenance programs.
