Position Title: Facility Custodian
Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 4-5 Hours / Day (Monday - Thursday) We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Facility Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role in Hamburg, IA focuses on daily cleaning duties across office spaces, common areas, locker rooms, and designated outdoor areas. Facility Custodian Responsibilities: - Clean and sanitize bathrooms and breakrooms - Spot clean and deep clean front offices and entry areas - Operate floor sweeper in walk aisles and front entrance - Empty trash in front offices, individual offices and entryways - Maintain locker rooms: change trash, mop floors and discard unsecured/unclaimed items - Clean and tidy outside back patio area, removing trash and clutter Requirements for Facility Custodian: - Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Ability to lift up to 40lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift - Comfortable using cleaning equipment such as floor sweepers and mops - Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
