As a Quality Technician with Husco, you'll play a key role in ensuring every component and finished product meets the highest standards of excellence. Your sharp eye for detail will help identify and document inspection results, while your problem-solving mindset will drive real solutions- not just surface level fixes. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated professional who thrives under pressure and can juggle multiple priorities with confidence and precision.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Facilitate and Execute Inspection: Inspect and measure new material lots from suppliers to ensure conformance to drawing specifications. Support the SPAP/PPAP processes. Act as backup tollgate inspector for the inspection of valves for certain features, per instruction prior to shipping.
  • Failure Analysis and Cleanliness Testing: Evaluate, analyze, and troubleshoot failures to determine the root cause and assist in the resolution of manufacturing, design, or supplier related quality issues. Quality Technicians assist with the tear down of valves and sub-assemblies. Work in collaboration with teams on part evaluation and brainstorming. Perform valve and housing contamination studies as required per schedule.
  • Ensure Production Equipment is Accurately Calibrated and Verified: Calibrate and/or verify equipment used for production and testing, including test stands, gauging, and electronics. Write/edit processes for calibration instructions as needed. Coordinate external calibration services and maintain calibration records and certifications.
  • Conduct Quality and Production Audits: Conduct production line audits to verify compliance to established standards and processes including gage, oil cleanliness, assembly tools, valve cleanliness, and documentation. Ensure honing controls and gages are in place and operational. Review and audit production documentation to make sure all documents are controlled and current.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Degree, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a hydraulics or similar manufacturing environment with an ISO or (TS16949) QS9000 quality program, including mechanical testing and/or inspection preferred.
  • Fully knowledgeable in geometric tolerancing/design and the use of standard inspection metrology equipment.
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle interruptions, meet tight deadlines, and handle conflict in an effective manner.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay and benefits
  • 100% tuition reimbursement and support for continued learning
  • 401(k) program with company match
