Join our bank as the Loan Production Manager, where you'll lead a high-performing team responsible for bringing commercial and agricultural loan opportunities to life. You'll play a key role in driving accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client service throughout the loan documentation process. By ensuring every loan is prepared in full compliance with bank policy, lending regulations, and approval terms, you'll safeguard the bank's success while empowering our business and ag clients to grow.

Supervision & Leadership

  • Set clear expectations and review performance with staff regularly through one-on-ones and quarterly conversations. Keep accurate personnel files.
  • Mentor, coach and support staff. Guide and develop associates to strengthen their knowledge, job responsibilities, and engagement. Promote job satisfaction.
  • Ensure department's processes support the bank strategies and goals.
  • Conduct department meetings. Keep staff informed and engaged.
  • Identify educational opportunities for staff related to their personal goals.
  • Act as a role model to staff through appropriate behaviors and professional demeanor. Ensure alignment with Lake Ridge Bank's Mission, Vision and Values.

Department Management

  • Utilizing regular monitoring reports, analyze the completion of loan production tasks to ensure accuracy, compliance, policy and timeliness.
  • Establish and keep up to date all department operating procedures & policies ensuring they align with the bank's Loan Policy and all lending regulations.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the full loan process & collaborate regularly within the department and with related departments to ensure processes follow loan policy & regulations are being completed consistently and are efficient.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all lending regulations and ensure that all processes & procedures align with the requirements.
  • Monitor various reports to analyze employees' workloads, volumes and timelines to ensure efficiency.
  • Oversee the loan documentation system specifications. Stay abreast of system changes and enhancements, understand how system changes affect current processes and communicate changes to appropriate staff.
  • Support the Loan Production staff by answering questions and collaborating on best practices for how to manage inquiries, requests and complaints.
  • Provide support and backup to staff including but not limited to completing due diligence, typing loan documents, reviewing loan document packages for others and processing executed loan packages.
  • Provide training on department responsibilities and tasks as needed for staff.
  • Consult with 3rd parties as necessary to ensure loan documentation is prepared using best practices & will stand up in court if necessary while ensuring that any risk to the bank has been considered.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Administrative Professional, Business Management, Finance, Accounting or similar program and/or five years previous work experience in commercial and/or agriculture lending, loan processing, loan operations, credit underwriting, or similar work experience.
  • 3-5 years previous supervision/management/team lead experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with a diverse group of clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow up skills
  • Advanced computer skills with working knowledge of software programs, such as, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and the Internet with ability and willingness to learn new software/programs.
  • Good accounting skills with the ability to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality of customer information
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English clearly
  • Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Finance or similar field
  • Knowledge of Commercial and Agricultural loan documentation.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
