Job Description

A Senior FPGA Verification Engineer job in Platteville, WI is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, and 10+ years of experience designing FPGAs/ASICs. Experience aerospace and defense projects is required. In this role, you will be responsible for verification, documentation per the DO-254 guidelines, creating test plans, meeting timeline deliverables, overseeing jr engineers and providing guidance as required. This is a very visible opportunity requiring interfacing with internal management as well as customer facing interactions.

Job Duties:
* Generate detailed test model(s) to meet program verification requirements.
* Meet all the documentation needs of an aerospace development project
* Create and execute a test plan.
* Coordinate and Direct other members on the team to complete verification effort.
* Interface with customer in providing status and addressing opens, queries.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related discipline, advanced degree preferred.
* Ten plus years of experience designing and developing Verification artifacts for FPGAs/ASICs from concept through production.
* Aerospace experience required.
* Extensive experience with all facets of Verification including: Test Bench creation, updating, maintaining and meeting verification goals of an DO-254 DAL-A design
* Experience in DO-254 verification environment, documentation, process practices.
* Strong knowledge of industry standard verification tools and methodologies
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Excellent analytical, root cause, debugging and analytical skills
* Due to the nature of the work performed, US CITIZENSHIP is a REQUIREMENT

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $90,000-150,000, however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
